Twig

In the previous chapter, Twig was introduced. The new template engine for Drupal. In this chapter, the basics to work with this template engine will be shown.

The first version of Twig was released on October 12, 2009. The syntax originates from Jinja and Django templates. Currently, Twig is maintained by Fabien Potencier.
